Nangal is a town in the Rupnagar district in Punjab, India. It is located on the foot of Shivalik hills and spreads over both sides of the river Satluj.

A cheaper option would be to take a train to Nangal Dam. Direct trains are available from Chandigarh, Ambala, Amritsar, Haridwar, and Delhi.

Direct buses from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar to Nangal are available. You can also hire a taxi and reach a couple of hours faster.
